Publicis Groupe takes an icy plunge as part of Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day Dip

Daffodil Day is in its 40th year in 2026, raising funds for Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research. This year, Cancer Council is aiming to raise over $5.5million across Australia. 

 

When Daffodil Day first took roots in 1986, 5-year cancer survival was approximately 46%. Today, thanks to the support of the community, 5-year cancer survival is now 72%.

 

As part of Publicis Groupe’s national strategic partnership with Cancer Council for the Working With Cancer initiative, our execs did the Daffodil Day Ice Dip to show their support and raise funds for Cancer Council.  

 

Working With Cancer aims to build supportive workplaces for people living with cancer. With more than 40% of new cancer cases occurring among Australians of working age (20-64), this pledge requires organisations to declare their intent to improve cancer support for their employees, follow up with cultural and organisational actions and put plans in place to raise awareness of the support they offer to their teams, breaking the stigma of cancer in the workplace. Now, more than 5,000 companies have taken the pledge, with support available to 40 million employees globally.
