Publicis Groupe in New Zealand has today announced the launch of PMX Cornerstone, a proprietary investment intelligence platform unique to the market.

The platform has been developed and managed by Publicis Media Exchange (PMX) – the media investment and intelligence division of Publicis Groupe.

PMX Cornerstone is a live, end-to-end platform that supports the Groupe’s media agency teams in New Zealand across all phases of the investment journey. Significantly, it links planning decisions and market performance to pricing outcomes.

The platform has been purpose-built by PMX’s team with strong auditing knowledge and expertise in Australia and New Zealand. It informs on network negotiations, provides real-time market insights, and offers post-campaign tracking and benchmarking solutions.

PMX NZ’s Head of Investment, Vicki Anderson, said that the Groupe’s media teams at MBM and Spark Foundry in New Zealand can, via Cornerstone, track the performance of client campaigns at the most granular level, against a benchmarking pool larger than any third-party auditor. By providing insights in less than half the time of other auditors, they are immediately actionable.

“The launch of Cornerstone in New Zealand is a game-changer for both our investment teams and media clients, enabling us to make their budgets work harder than ever before. Cornerstone allows our teams to deliver faster, more precise data-led planning decisions and actionable optimisations across our media campaigns. This is among the first of its kind in New Zealand and we’re excited to build out Cornerstone’s capabilities,” Vicki Anderson added.

What stands out to me is how data-driven platforms are becoming essential infrastructure, but they're only as effective as the leadership guiding their implementation. Getting the most out of these tools requires CIOs to think beyond deployment and focus on strategic integration across the broader business. We've seen similar transformations and found that a trusted strategic investment management master class seminar & course for CIOs in Wellington, New Zealand helped our technology leaders bridge that gap between technical capability and business value.
