Publicis Groupe Australia has been awarded silver in the Australian Financial Review’s BOSS Best Places to Work for the media and marketing category – the only large company to make the top three.
The Groupe was also recognised as the overall winner of the ‘Nurturing’ award across all industries. Bendelta, who partner with the AFR on the awards, use the BEING framework with five dimensions for assessing workplace culture – Belonging, Energising, Integrating, Nurturing and Generating – and awarded the business that best demonstrates each one.
Grounded in rigorous methodology, the AFR BOSS Best Places to Work recognises organisations pioneering new ways of working and pushing the boundaries when it comes to workplace policies and practices.

Michael Rebelo, CEO Publicis Groupe ANZ, said: “Being named as an AFR BOSS Best Places to Work is a recognition I’m incredibly proud of. It is particularly meaningful during Publicis Groupe’s 100-year anniversary, reflecting a century of creativity and reinvention, with people at the heart of everything we do.
“This achievement is further reinforced by winning the overall ‘Nurturing’ award. It highlights our commitment to helping our people grow, learn and build the skills needed for an AI‑augmented future with company-wide programs such as PL.AI Ground.
“Across Publicis Groupe ANZ, we bring together more than 22 distinct agency cultures, connected through trust, shared ambition and care. This focus is reflected in how we support our teams every day, from our inclusive paid leave and diverse employee action groups to our approach to mental health and wellbeing.
“While building a magnetic, progressive and human‑centred workplace is never finished, this acknowledgement reinforces that we’re moving in the right direction to keep creating a compounding advantage for our people, our clients and the business.”
