Publicis Groupe today held an executive breakfast to officially launch its Working with Cancer initiative in Australia.

The global initiative aims to eradicate the stigma of cancer in the workplace by encouraging major corporations to sign a ‘pledge’ to put policies and systems in place that better support employees living with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.
The event included an engaging panel discussion, hosted by physician, journalist and co-founder of Tonic Media Network, Dr Norman Swan, and featuring Cancer Council NSW General Manager of Marketing Naomi Watson; Senior Clinical Psychologist at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse Dr Toni Lindsay; and Karen Colin-Thome, Finance Director at Leo Burnett Australia.
It was an informative and inspiring morning, with many leading organisations coming together to discuss ways to support employees affected by cancer and other serious illnesses throughout their working lives.
